The Angelia Project, Page 255:
“Winger and Bi-shou were met at Ben Gurion Airport by Levi Wise. Wise had been recalled to work as a special assistant to Halevy after Rosen was relocated to the Foundation in Virginia. With the escalating tensions and activity around Angelia, Halevy thought it would be prudent to use Wise’s experience to protect their most important secret, the system that maintained Israel’s critical strategic national security capability.”
This is a snapshot taken of the author, Bill Duncan, in the early 1990s, entering Israel for the first time. Ben Gurion Airport is much more sophisticated today, but even in those days the immigration controls were daunting.
